Our challenge

We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester with extensive experience in test automation, particularly within the investment banking domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, with a focus on financial applications. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute an automated testing strategy, including selecting appropriate test automation tools and frameworks.
• Design and implement automated test scripts for various applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across all functionalities and business requirements in the investment banking space.
• Run automated tests, analyze results, report defects, and ensure timely resolutions in collaboration with development teams.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in testing processes and tooling, and advocate for best practices in automation testing.
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to define testing requirements and ensure that testing aligns with project goals and timelines.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers and help foster a culture of quality within the team.
• Maintain clear documentation of testing processes, test cases, and outcomes to ensure knowledge transfer and adherence to compliance requirements.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices relevant to investment banking, and apply this knowledge to improve testing strategies.
