Our challenge
We are looking for a highly skilled and driven Scrum Master with over 10 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in software development, particularly within the banking, investment banking, or credit card industry sectors. The role requires a deep understanding of credit card/payment industries or similar and the ability to lead and mentor a development team, while ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient code. Strong expertise in Java development, coupled with a strong background in financial services, is essential for success in this position.
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Jersey City, NJ with salary 95,000-100,000/ year & benefits.
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team.
- Define and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business goals and vision.
- Ensure the team delivers high-quality product increments by guiding development and removing blockers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and user stories.
- Drive the delivery of product features in a timely manner, adhering to Agile principles.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure successful sprint outcomes
