Our challenge

We are looking for a talented Python developer to work in the Risk Finance Technology team. Candidate will be responsible for designing and developing Python solutions to help solve complex business problems within one of the most interesting parts of one of the world's largest banks.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $110k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, leveraging AI-driven technologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore and integrate Gen AI & Prompt Engineering concepts into software development practices.
• Contribute to the implementation of AI-driven features and functionalities, ensuring high performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to deliver high-quality and efficient software solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies, best practices, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements:

• 8 years of experience in Python development experience is a must
• 2 years of SQL programming experience preferably with databases such as Oracle Exadata
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and related technologies
• Experience in big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop
• Knowledge of performance tuning data intensive applications
• Expertise in performance profiling, ability to identify performance improvements and memory optimizations
• Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills
• Experience in large scale enterprise application design and implementation
• Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative tech based solutions
• Excellent communication skills
