Our challenge
We are looking for highly Skilled Data Analyst with Proven experience in data governance, data management and Primary responsibility will be to work with departments technology and business stakeholders to ensure that data is collected, stored, and used appropriately and effectively. Additionally help application team as a Scrum master and help application manager for managing the application hygiene and mitigate risk timely.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Jersey City, NJ is $120k - $130k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain data quality, data governance policies, standards, procedures.
• Manage expectations of various stakeholder groups and help negotiate solutions to complex problems.
• Accurately record, maintain, and report Program/Project management tracking data such as milestones via internal project tracking systems.
• Data Analysis capabilities (Database and Spreadsheet), with extensive experience using PL SQL scripting and Excel required.
• Support system change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based on analysis of information.
• Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
• Act as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and work as a team to achieve business objectives, performing other duties and functions as assigned.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and play role of Business Data analyst.
• Support the team playing additional role of a Scrum Master and run all ceremonies. Be a team player in taking up and sharing responsibilities.

Required Skills, Experience and Competencies:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., information management, data
science, computer science)
• Proven experience in data governance, data management or a related field.
• Preferable coming from data warehouse, data lake or data managed platforms.
• Certified scrum master or any agile certification.
• Strong knowledge and years of experience on Jira and other project management tools.
• Strong experience in advanced Microsoft excels, word, power point.
• Excellent communication (written & verbal) and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent
