We are looking for a Pre-sales candidate, as a Pre-Sales Intern, the candidate will work closely with our sales and technical teams to support the sales process and help drive new business opportunities. Candidate will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of pre-sales, including customer engagement, proposal development, and market research.

Paid Internship Opportunity, pay rate will be $18/hour, for a duration of approximately 12 weeks. Location: Charlotte, NC.

The Role
Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement:
- Work alongside the sales team to qualify leads and develop solution proposals based on client needs.
- Participate in discovery sessions and needs assessments to recommend appropriate IT solutions.
- Solution Design & Proposal Preparation:
- Collaborate with internal teams to design custom IT solutions, including cloud services, software applications, IT infrastructure, data management, and cybersecurity.
- Create and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations for Internal teams.
- Participate in development of proposals, including technical specifications, project scope, timelines, and pricing models.
- Technical Expertise & Product Knowledge:
- Gain a high-level understanding of the company’s product offerings and the IT services landscape.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT services industry.
- RFP/RFI Responses:
- Participate in the creation and submission of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Ensure that all technical, functional, and business requirements are addressed in proposals and presentations.
- Sales Support & Collaboration:
- Support the sales team in building client relationships and closing deals.
- Begin to understand and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Proof of Concept (POC):
- Coordinate and assist with the development of Proof of Concept (POC) projects to demonstrate the viability and value of the proposed solution to clients.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure smooth handoff of client requirements post-sale.
You are:
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to support decision-making.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
