Our Challenge:

We are looking for a talented UI React.js Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.js. You will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code and will work closely with designers and backend developers to create seamless and efficient web applications.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.

In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New Jersey is $100k-$110k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• UI Development: Develop and implement user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows such as Redux, React Router, and Hooks.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create responsive and visually appealing applications that enhance the user experience.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• API Integration: Work with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure data flow between server and client.
• Testing: Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the application is error-free and performs optimally across various devices and browsers.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability, implementing techniques to improve performance.
• Version Control: Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code changes and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for code, processes, and application features for future reference.

Requirements:

You are:

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 8 years of experience in frontend development with a focus on React.js.
• Strong understanding of web development concepts, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in React.js and its core principles.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Material-UI).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

It would be great if you also had:

• Experience with TypeScript and testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile development environment.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
