The ideal candidate will have experience facing off to a set of technology leaders and driving resolution of a portfolio of vulnerabilities in that given portfolio.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities
- Understanding the disposition of the vulnerabilities in a portfolio and working with Application Owners and Infrastructure teams to coordinate remediation plans, provide remediation instructions, triage and summarize issues and participate in awareness and update forums related to information security vulnerabilities.
- Structuring program routines and standard updates and artifacts, creating materials for leadership updates, working to create and obtain remediation plans and unstick blockers, monitoring metrics, scheduling and leading established meeting routines, and reporting progress of the portfolio.
Requirements:
You are:
- Experience with Confluence, JIRA, ServiceNow and vulnerability management a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics and engage with senior leaders(Tech Execs, App Owners, Risk Leads)
- Ability to analyze and manipulate high volumes of vulnerability data
- Ability to prepare and deliver senior management updates.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
- Comfort with ambiguity; flexible and able to navigate changing priorities and adjust to new learnings
- Develop and implement strong processes and standard routines for operation
- Advanced Excel Skills required ; MS Powerpoint Skills preferred.
- Basic understanding of IT Application Server Architecture and Vulnerability Management
- Prior experience in vulnerability management or remediation (infrastructure, application)
- Prior experience in Confluence and JIRA to document content and retain knowledge artifacts.
