What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Systems Engineer position at Synectic Solutions Inc?
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a team to identify, diagnose, and resolve problems.
- Performs programmatic or technical leadership roles in an organization identifying, formulating, designing, and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems, guiding the engineering development of modern complex systems.
- Employ systems engineering methods in the development of advanced complex systems.
- Conduct research in applied systems engineering to advance the field.
Requirements
- US Citizen and Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
- MS or MA degree from an accredited college or university.
- ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: A Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience may be substituted for a MS or MA degree. These four (4) years of experience are in addition to the required minimum of ten (10) years to meet the
- Fourteen (14) years of experience required.
- 10 years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering position
- 3 years of experience must be directly related to DoD systems.
- Demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise is required.
