Job Description
This individual is responsible for developing and producing interactive/online technical documentation using browser-based languages training products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and update operational procedures, detailed descriptions of its hardware and software components, and an interactive online help feature.
- Maintain approximately 500 content files in knowledge repositories.
- Develop and manage content for the IETM, including an online help feature. Content encompasses documentation and procedures outlining the system level operations and maintenance.
- Collaborate with technical writers and subject matter experts to create technical documentation, including manuals, user guides, and maintenance instructions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- 3-5 years of directly related experience.
- Must have five years (5) of experience developing and producing interactive/online technical documentation.
- Two (2) years demonstrated experience supervising content development and integration efforts.
- Two (2) years demonstrated experience using XML authoring tool sets.
- Strong communications skills. Will be required to communicate with parties within and outside of own job function.
