Responsibilities
- The Architectural Designer will develop customized building designs and renovations, balancing client needs, budgets, and quality.
- This role includes preparing architectural drawings, coordinating with consultants, ensuring code compliance, and managing permit submissions - all while prioritizing service and attention to detail.
- Lead design documentation efforts.
- Apply advanced design and technical concepts across projects.
- Assist with project planning, specifications, and budgeting.
- Supervise specific technical design aspects of projects.
- Lead internal coordination meetings and support client/consultant communications.
- Review junior staff work for quality and compliance.
- Participate in mentoring and office committees.
- 6 years of progressive experience.
- Advanced skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Illustrator, SketchUp and/or similar design software with an emphasis on 3D presentation..
- Knowledge of Bluebeam and Adobe Suite.
- Experience in Lumion is a plus.
- Education / Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program is a plus.
- LEED or WELL accreditation encouraged.
- AIA or NCARB certification encouraged.
- Mid-level designer with greater independence, technical competence, and emerging leadership skills.
