Responsibilities
- We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our team working on land development and infrastructure projects across the U.S.
- This position offers flexibility to work from our Grand Rapids, Scottsdale offices, or remotely in Idaho and Northern Arizona.
- Assist in preparing engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for civil projects (site development, transportation, utilities).
- Use AutoCAD/Civil 3D to create detailed designs and models.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop design concepts and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Gather and analyze survey, topographic, and utility data for design planning.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, calculations, and design documents.
- Review plans and specifications for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies for approvals and permits.
- Communicate with stakeholders to resolve design and technical issues.
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, and quality control.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- PE license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
- Minimum 3 years of civil engineering experience (preferably in land development).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, including grading, drainage, and utility design.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
