Job Responsibilities :
The main function of a Field Technician is the planning, expansion and commissioning of radio network / repeater systems on site (in workshops of manufacturers and operators of trains, in technical rooms in railway and road tunnels, shopping centers, airports, football stadiums, etc.).
Acceptance measurements with a spectrum analyzer, creation of system documentation, measurement and maintenance reports
Product support and technical contact for the customer by phone and on site
Fault rectification, system measurements, error analyzes and maintenance work your profile
Different site installs. Queuing third party vendor work.
Test fiber optics, shoot light through, see where it is, see if it's dark fiber or not.
Ensuring kind of the the building codes. (installing up to codes.)
A physical role and understanding how to configure a switch.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required with completed technical training in the field of electrical engineering, electrical installer or in radio / television technology
2-4 years of experience
Professional experience with the installation and commissioning of electronic devices
Knowledge and experience in the radio field (HF / mobile radio / spectrum analyzer) is an advantage
Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office applications
Willingness to work away from home, flexible working hours and open to learning new things
Class B OR Class C driving license
Understanding how to run and terminate Ethernet cables from APS TO networks closets to IDFS to MD FS. Test the Wi-Fi do speed testing.
Understand how to run cables through ceilings, walls, you know, raise floorings while doing proper cable management.
Understating how to run cables correctly, bending conduit.
Understand how to mount an access point on ceiling, walls and poles.
Experience installing network equipment

Technical Certification Bonus : Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
