We are looking for a highly skilled Fire Alarm Field Service Technician who thrives on solving complex challenges, has strong programming expertise , and is passionate about leading and mentoring junior technicians . What You'll Do :
Program various systems and ensure accurate functionality during initial acceptance testing
Perform Preventative maintenance inspections and provide plans & recommendations
Diagnose & troubleshoot issues to keep clients safe and compliant
Provide technical support to customers and junior team members
Light installation work as needed
Review and submit critical documentation to ensure compliance
Be a key player in a growing company , driving positive change
Requirements :
7 years of hands-on experience in fire alarm installation and programming
Strong troubleshooting skills and in-depth Life Safety knowledge
Excellent communication - ability to work with customers, technicians, and office staff professionally
Proven leadership & mentoring abilities - we want someone who enjoys teaching and guiding junior technicians
Self-motivated & adaptable - ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
Attention to detail & problem-solving mindset
Valid California Driver's License (clean record required)
NICET Level II (or higher) certification
Ability to read and interpret job-site drawings
Must live within 50 miles of Redwood City
