- Our client is seeking a Law Clerk to join our team supporting our mission of fighting for the criminally accused.
- In this position, the team member will be providing litigation support tasks like brief writing, legal research, preparing affidavits, corresponding with clients, drafting motions, sentencing memorandums, and numerous other relevant tasks.

- Working under the direction of experienced trial attorneys.
- Performing complex legal research for the trial team.
- Drafting legal documents, such as motions, briefs, memoranda of law, etc.
- Reviewing and conducting research for various legal issues.
- Preparing affidavits.
- Conducting write-ups with clients.
- Briefing attorneys regarding legal issues and theories.
- Assisting attorneys with all phases of litigation.
- Working with Westlaw and being proficient with blue book citing.
- Requires Juris Doctor (JD) degree, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study or, an equivalent level of legal training or experience or an equivalent level of education may be substituted.
- Thorough knowledge of Westlaw legal research tools.
- Extensive experience with cite checking and blue book.
- Experience performing complex legal research.
- Ability to consistently deliver highest quality work under extreme pressure will be very important.
- Works well with others.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good analytical skills.
- Punctual.
