Job Description:
Wire Operations requires assistance in day-to-day processing of wire payments, transfers and SWIFT messages in a high-pace and high-risk environment.
Responsible for handling exceptions and repairs related to incoming and outgoing wires and SWIFT messages.
Provide support for Chicago Wire Operations Team.
Repair incoming wires to post to appropriate accounts and general ledgers
Repair outgoing wires to include proper routing
Monitor specific work queues and perform assigned functions related to the queues
Send emails to internal partners regarding wires that stopped for a possible duplicate, status code issues or risk
Respond to email inquiries regarding status of wires
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Learns quickly and is extremely detail oriented
Willing to be trained and assist the team
Prior experience in Financial Industry
Payment/Data processing experience
Knowledge of Wire payments and Swift Messages
Processing or Administrative environment would be preferred.
Work hours: 9:30am - 6:00pm CST

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
