Responsibilities :
Program Support : Collaborate closely with the existing program manager to manage and execute the lighting rebate programs.
Stakeholder Coordination : Work with internal teams, external partners, and customers to ensure smooth program delivery.
Assist in maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including businesses participating in the rebate programs.
Program Execution : Monitor program activities to ensure alignment with established goals and deadlines.
Support program logistics, including tracking progress, managing documentation, and coordinating deliverables.
Performance Analysis : Assist in analyzing program performance data to evaluate success and identify improvement opportunities.
Contribute to reporting on program metrics and outcomes for stakeholders.
Transition Support : Step in to cover responsibilities vacated by the previous program manager, ensuring continuity in operations.
Provide additional capacity to support the existing program manager.
Team Collaboration : The individual will work as part of a collaborative team, providing hands-on support while learning from the current program manager.
Responsible for all aspects, annual forecasting, budgeting, marketing plans.

Morning Routine : Emails and Updates : Start the day by reviewing and responding to emails.
Address questions or updates from sales, account management, or other departments related to program offerings.
Meetings with Internal Teams : Collaborate with the product team and marketing assistants / coordinators to discuss weekly plans, program goals, and immediate priorities.
Coordinate with the co-manager to review workflows, address challenges, and align on tasks for the day.
Engineering and Regulatory Teams : Discuss program compliance, technical aspects, or regulatory requirements.
Attend meetings with partner organizations to maintain alignment on shared goals or projects.
Program Planning and Execution : Support the marketing communications team in developing or reviewing program materials and collateral.
Ensure that program workflows are on track and address any immediate roadblocks with internal or external teams.
Afternoon Focus : Customer and Stakeholder Support : Address inquiries or issues raised by customers or account managers related to rebate programs or offerings.
Assist in identifying optimal program solutions for specific customer needs in collaboration with the Business Solutions Center.
Reporting and Strategy : Review progress on program initiatives or metrics with the co-manager.
Contribute to planning for future activities, ensuring alignment with broader program goals.
Dynamic Nature of the Role : While there's a basic structure to the day, the role requires adaptability as priorities shift based on customer needs, team inquiries, or project deadlines.
This flexibility ensures that all aspects of the energy efficiency programs are running smoothly, and stakeholders are supported effectively.
We do have we do have product offerings within our lighting programs that we contract out with vendor implementors; there is a lot of interaction there.
We do have in some cases, depending on the product, there is the potential for having sort of biweekly check in meetings with those vendors.
Qualifications :
1-3 years of relevant experience in managing programs or projects, including planning, execution, and collaboration across teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to effectively convey ideas, coordinate with stakeholders, and document program updates.
Skilled in using applications like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to manage workflows, analyze data, and create presentations.
Demonstrates initiative, can work independently, and thrives in ambiguous situations by taking ownership and driving progress with minimal supervision after onboarding.
Highly detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in program management, tracking, and communication.
Salesforce Experience : While not required, familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is beneficial.
Ideal for someone who combines technical proficiency with strong communication skills and a self-driven, adaptable mindset.
Would like to see previous experience in a regulated background, not necessarily utility.
In addition to previous experience working in a large / matrixed corporate environment.

The position is for a Program Manager Level 1, requiring some program management experience but not extensive expertise.

Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
