We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in managing complex projects and driving successful payroll time and labor implementations
Will lead the project end-to-end within Corporate Payroll Services by means of project management and project execution within Oracle Cloud Time and Labor system (OTL).
Managing project timelines, track all key items related to the project, setting due dates, and key milestone phases of the project to capture all tasks for a successful implementation.
Lead from a project manager aspect to ensure the team and external third party meets core deliverables.
Additional aspects of this role include scheduling meetings, initiate and conduct meetings, creating and sending out meeting minutes, documentation, creating process maps, creating / developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and tracking all key aspects of the project.
This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Payroll Systems and will be the payroll project manager lead for this company-wide, high-profile project.
Work collaboratively and support the Sr. Manager, Payroll Systems.
Act as one of the main liaisons working closely with third-party development teams.
Work closely with Payroll, IT, and HRIT for the duration of the project.
Managing and project coordination of the following phases : Testing, Change Management, Training Communications, and Knowledge Transfer.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones using SmartSheet as the primary project management tool.
Project management of building a strategy / plan, support testing plan phases, change management, communication, architecture, and applicable policies and procedures while ensuring compliance.
Collaborate with key business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to establish clear deliverables.
Take meeting minutes and follow-up regarding key action items from project meetings
Drive task alignment and ensure project teams meet critical deadlines to achieve key milestones and project objectives.
Present project updates, reports, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership teams in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
Proactively identifies and communicates to leadership of potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure smooth project execution.
Demonstrate strong business acumen to align project objectives with organizational goals and deliver measurable business value.
Ensure project documentation is thorough, accurate, and up to date, with a focus on writing, reading, and comprehension excellence.
Drives project progress according to planned schedule.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or Human Resources or equivalent experience required
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
3 years of Project Management implementing payroll technology projects with emphasis in payroll time and labor for large, multi-state employer with complex policies and rules.
Previous experience in a fast-paced, corporate dynamic business environment
Experience building and managing test plans and leading multiple test cycles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on clarity, comprehension, and detail.
Flexible to changing priorities and can manage to execute tasks effectively
Skilled in creating detailed and actionable meeting summaries
Adept at documenting discussions, decisions, and next steps
Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Experience working closely with key business SMEs to ensure alignment and stakeholder buy-in throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience in presenting to stakeholders, conducting training sessions, and leading teams to achieve key milestones.
A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving and team leadership
Excel and SharePoint
Ability to create process flow maps
Proficient in MS Office 365, MS Outlook (Calendar scheduling), PowerPoint, MS Word, OneNote, PowerBI is a plus
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Time & Labor is a preferred, but not required
Ability to handle and manage high stress with composure while maintaining a positive attitude
Expertise in implementing Time and Labor systems - Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) is preferred
Advanced proficiency in utilizing SmartSheet as the main project management tool, and the ability to collaborate effectively.
Keen eye for detail, understanding processes, documentation, and setting / managing timelines to ensure the core time and labor team meets key project milestones.

It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
