Duties :
Communicate and negotiate Owner's requirements with governmental agencies for the acquisition of various permits and approvals for construction, operation and maintenance of existing and new facilities, including but not limited to, temporary workspace agreements, licenses, and permits
Effectively use Owner's established policies, procedures, processes to perform work.
Represent company at public meetings before governmental agencies such as municipalities, zoning boards, townships, county commissioners and similar organizations.
Process requests for certificates of insurance and posting of bonds by completing and submitting appropriate forms.
Prepare and / or send correspondence, and overnight documents.
Qualifications :
Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the Right of Way / Real Estate industry with at least 1 year working in the capacity of a Permit / Zoning Agent.
Previous experience with zoning, land divisions, and utility permitting.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet objectives and deadlines.
Ability to read and interpret jurisdictional regulatory policies and procedures impacting real estate transactions.
Ability to read and interpret real estate documents and legal descriptions and construction-related drawings.

Technical Certification Bonus : Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
