What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate attorney position at Synectics?
This is a growing firm concentrating in wills, trusts, estates and guardianship administration and litigation. With offices in Fort Myers and Naples, Florida, we represent clients across Lee, Collier and surrounding counties. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation attorney to join our team. For the right candidate, this position offers the potential to grow into a shareholder role in a thriving legal market. The ideal candidate is looking to have their own practice and will eventually be taking over the practice of the senior shareholder.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze and Investigate litigation matters
- Develop legal arguments, including conducting caselaw research
- Participate in all phases of litigation, including arguing motions, depositions, and participating at trial
- Draft and review motions, briefs, and discovery documents
- Report to partners and clients on cases assigned
