What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager Epidemiology and Real World Evidence position at Synectics?
Description :
- The Epidemiology Manager will contribute to or support members of the Epidemiology and RWE team to conduct pharmacoepidemiologic studies on use, safety and effectiveness of drugs used for the treatment or prevention of HIV.
- Work with members of Epidemiology and RWE team to develop non-interventional study protocols and conduct research studies on disease burden and drug effectiveness / safety.
- Proactively manage project level aspects of RWE studies, including timelines and deliverables.
- Ensure potential projects risks are escalated to the relevant Epi and RWE team members.
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on topics related to the research portfolio.
- Collaborate with analysts and statisticians to conduct analyses of in-house data sources.
- Contribute to the development and dissemination of study publications.
- Communicate projects results to internal and external stakeholders and convey complex data in tangible terms for different audiences.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Technical Certification Bonus : Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
