What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at Synectics?
Responsibilities :
Generation of mechanical component Bills of Materials (BOM)
Review of fabrication drawings, created by the design department
Weekly Teams and project review meetings
Works closely with project managers, designers and customers.
Spends the majority of time in-house, but is expected to travel as needed for project site activities, start-ups
Qualifications :
Strong organizational, and management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
BS in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or food industries preferred
Technical communication (oral and written)
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to navigate basic technology, phones, computers and other systems where applicable.
