Responsible for establishing, maintaining and strengthening relationships with referral sources within designated territory. The Business Development Executive will be assigned a territory in which they identify and qualify current and potential referral sources. They will develop and maintain account plans for each source all with the goal of increasing referrals and conversion to admissions. The Business Development Executive works with physician practices, hospitals, nursing facilities (including assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities and independent living) and other referral sources as assigned in their territory. Functions within established policies and procedures to assure compliance to federal and state regulations
This is an Exempt position.
DUTIES : 1.Responsible for defining and implementing a strategy for increasing market share in designated territory for Delaware Hospice.
2.Conducts a minimum number of sales calls per week to various referral sources an documents their visits efficiently and effectively utilizing CRM software.
3.Manages a territory which includes but is not limited to, account prioritization, account qualification, account planning and determination of account goals and tactics for hospitals, nursing facilities, physician practices and other referral sources in assigned territory. Documents accordingly in CRM software.
4.Maintains relationship with assigned clinical team to develop a plan to promote and enhance existing and potential organizational relationships.
5.Identify appropriate employees and volunteers who can participate in fulfilling Community Outreach as needed.
6.Assist in developing materials for presentations. Coordinate effective use of marketing materials, based on the group being addressed.
7.Follow
- up with all external inquiries for education opportunities, including public speaking engagements. Coordinate speakers and materials. Manage set up, break down and evaluation of presentation.
8.Create and maintain relationships with a variety of groups and organizations within assigned territory to ensure a consistent and continuous Outreach effort.
9.Participates in professional and community organizations which are related to appropriate areas that support the growth plan in the assigned territory.
10.Maintain accurate evaluations and database on efforts in order to trend and track successes in both Delaware and Pennsylvania.
11.Provide information regarding Delaware Hospice"s programs to the community at large.
12.Provide weekly and monthly reports to the leadership as requested.
13.Generate referral reports as needed.
14.Responsible for meeting referral goals within assigned territory.
15.Other duties as assigned.
Demonstrated Customer Service, influencing and sales skills. Excellent written, and verbal communication as well as strong organizational skills required.
