Indoor Air and Asbestos Safety Technician (AST)Our client is looking for someone to join their Industrial Hygiene Division. This is a remote role working from home in Northern NJ, with occasional trips to HQ in Southern NJ.Responsibilities : - Perform air monitoring and contractor oversight during asbestos abatement projects- Inspection and on-site monitoring for asbestos, mold, lead paint and indoor air quality- Conduct detailed surveys for asbestos, lead based paint, right to know, and mold- Maintain, operate, and calibrate a variety of sampling and monitoring equipment- Technical report writing and interpretation of analytical dataRequirements : - New Jersey Asbestos Safety Technician certification- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience- HS Diploma, mechanical / trade school, and / or college degree is preferred- Current EPA / AHERA building inspector accreditation preferred- Knowledge of general building mechanical systems and building construction- Valid driver's license- Ability to work OT and shift coverage
