Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Machine Operator with a strong focus on coating processes to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful production of high-quality products by operating and maintaining various coating equipment, ensuring optimal performance, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.This is a full-time onsite role located in West Caldwell, NJ.
- The role is second shift : 2 : 15pm-10 : 30pm Mon-FriResponsibilities : Coating Expertise :
- Deep understanding of knife over roll, reverse roll, gravure roll, and strip coating processes.
- Accurately calculate and maintain coat weights through gap adjustments and speed ratios.
- Proficient in the disassembly, cleaning, and assembly of solution supply components.Equipment Operation & Maintenance :
- Perform machine setups, troubleshoot, and correct machine functions and tension settings during the manufacturing process.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.Quality Assurance :
- Meticulously document batch records and departmental logbooks in accordance with cGMPs and SOPs.Safety & Compliance :
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Material Handling :
- Retrieve and return adhesives and coating solutions (drums, totes, and vessels) from warehouse and Mass Prep areas utilizing a pallet jack.Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
- At least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Strong understanding of cGMPs and SOPs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong math, problem-solving and analytical skills.
