Electro-Mechanical Technician
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician you'll be joining a global leader of industrial baking solutions and technology innovations. In this role your main responsibilities will be servicing and maintaining programmable logistics controllers in industrial settings. The ideal candidate will thrive in a flexible, dynamic schedule with opportunities for overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer locations to install, maintain, and repair equipment and systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
- Provide on-site and remote support, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Train customers on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices.
- Complete service reports and document repairs with accuracy and clarity.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
- Manage tools, parts inventory, and equipment necessary for service work.
- Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends to enhance service quality.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of technical schooling or 5-10 years of industry related experience.
- Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Experience with PLC systems and control panels.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Must be able to work independently, travel extensively (180 hotel nights/year), and provide after-hours support.
- Valid driver"s license required.
