The Electronics Assembler is responsible for performing a variety of assembly tasks for electronic, mechanical, cable, and sub-assemblies. This role ensures accurate and secure assembly in alignment with design specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.Responsibilities : - Assemble and wire electro-mechanical units, box builds, cable / wire assemblies, and PCB assemblies using small hand tools (, screwdrivers, tweezers, pliers).- Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and bills of materials (BOM) to complete production tasks accurately.- Use hand tools and equipment, such as wire strippers and crimpers, to assemble cable products with precision.- Perform transactions in an ERP system (, Epicor), including shop move logs and work instructions, and clock in / out of work orders.- Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed products to ensure proper functionality.- Prepare, set up, and break down components for production jobs and maintain a clean and organized work area.- Assist with packing, boxing, or bagging finished products for shipment.- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment and adhere to company quality standards.- Take on additional tasks, including setting up jobs and supporting production needs, as assigned.Electronics Assembler Job Requirements : - 2 years of electronics / cable assembly experience - Ability to read and follow schematics, assembly drawings, and verbal instructions to assemble developmental components and subassemblies- Knowledge with standard electronic components and strong mechanical aptitude.- Proficiency in interpreting and applying customer change notice (CCN) documents.
