Engineering AssistantEngineering Coordinator Our client is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Engineering team. This role is an opportunity to work for a well established manufacturing company with excellent benefits.Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of engineering documents and reports.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the engineering team.
- Manage and organize engineering files, records, and databases.
- Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Support project management activities, including tracking project timelines and deliverables.
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment for the engineering department.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, spreadsheets, and other documents as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
- Manage customer transmittals of engineering documents, drawings, and manuals.
- Other duties as assigned. Requirements :
- Associate"s degree in business or related field.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Microsoft project is a plus.
- Familiarity with engineering terminology and processes is a plus.
