Heavy Equipment Shop Technician Responsibilities : - Perform maintenance and repair tasks on large heavy construction equipment, addressing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems.- Utilize diverse methods and tools for accurate diagnosis and effective repair.- Execute assigned tasks with minimal need for re-work.- Safely operate tools and service equipment- Place orders for necessary parts and materials to fulfill work assignments.- Adhere to all company safety protocols consistently.- Complete all necessary paperwork, including time clocking, collection records, SOC reports, and maintain relevant records, photos, or other materials as required.Heavy Equipment Shop Technician Requirements : -3 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment required - Volvo construction equipment repair experience strongly preferred - Additional vocational or technical training in heavy / diesel equipment preferred
