What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspector position at Synerfac Technical Staffing?
Job type: Full Time
Expected Hours: 40 per week
Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Responsible for the inspection and documentation of all machining operations and outside vendor services.
Responsible for contacting customers for verification of drawing specs and resolution of problems in the event that the QC Lead is unavailable.
Interfacing with customers in the event of rejects and implementing corrective procedures in the event that the QC lead is unavailable.
Perform 1st pc, in process and final inspection using various inspection equipment including but not limited to: Calipers, micrometers, pin, plug and ring gages, CMM, comparators, concentricity gages at the direction of the Quality lead
Work to our quality system which ensures no more than two percent (2%) of work is spoiled.
Responsible for maintaining gauge calibrations and records, and ensuring all gauges are within calibration limits at the direction of the Quality lead
Must be proficient in all areas of part inspection: print reading, tool use and calibration. Experience in quality assurance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Computer literate.
High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent math, statistical analysis and process capability skills
Ability to handle problems with internal and external customers. Corrected vision required for print reading & part inspection. Ability to spend up to ten(10) hours on the shop floor. Ability to lift a maximum of fifty(50) pounds.
