Work directly for a Middlesex County, CT manufacturer specializing in industrial packaging and storage solutions.Die Inspector-Maintainer : Job Summary : The Stamping Die Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and assessing the quality of stamping dies before and after production runs, ensuring they meet design specifications and manufacturing standards.
This role requires technical expertise in stamping die processes, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

- Gets it, wants it and has the capacity to do it..Essential Functions : *Perform detailed inspections of stamping dies to ensure they meet design specifications and tolerances.
- Inspect dies before and after production runs for wear, damage, or defects, and report findings to relevant teams.*Measure and verify die dimensions using precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Collaborate with the production and die maintenance teams to troubleshoot any issues related to die performance or quality.
- Document and maintain accurate records of inspection results, including non-conformances and corrective actions.*Ensure dies are properly stored, cleaned, and maintained to prolong their lifespan and improve operational efficiency.
Quality Control : *Inspect all parts and final assemblies for accuracy and quality.*Report any non-standard conditions to the crew leader, set up person, or supervisor.
- Perform routine equipment checks as required.Safety and Maintenance : *Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any unsafe conditions to the lead person or supervisor immediately.*Perform daily inspections on presses, welding equipment, and other machinery.
Collaboration : *Communicate with engineering and production teams regarding any design modifications or adjustments needed for dies.
Collaborate with production teams to understand die requirements and resolve issues promptly Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and resolve any production issues.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Work Environment : *Exposure to a noisy and busy manufacturing environment.
- Use of PPE, including safety glasses / goggles, gloves, and steel-toed boots, is mandatory.*Working in a fast-paced setting to meet production deadlines.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS : 1.High School diploma or equivalent 2.Five years experience in tool and die maintenance3.Must possess, or be able to obtain, equipment certification4.
Must be must able to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds5.Ability to read blueprints and associated materials6.Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, team environment7.
