Materials Planner Job Responsibilities :
- Identify and procure necessary materials by issuing purchase requisitions.
- Coordinate with various departments to align production objectives and schedules.
- Issue work orders to production teams to ensure adherence to the production schedule.
- Manage material planning and coordination, including inventory counts, scrap reports, and requisition control.
- Update inventory records by relieving issued materials to job orders in the online system.
- Provide backup support for receiving materials in the online system.
- Assist with administrative tasks within the Production Control department as needed.
Materials Planner Requirements :
- 4 years of experience in a production/materials planning role for a manufacturing company required
- Strong MS Office and computer aptitude required
- Associates or bachelors degree required
