Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules are met.
- Monitor and optimize workflows, equipment performance, and labor allocation.
- Ensure all products meet company quality standards and food safety regulations.
- Work closely with the Quality team to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Drive adherence to HACCP, GMPs, and SQF/FDA guidelines.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to achieve targets.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels for raw materials and finished goods.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of floor supervisors and production staff.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Oversee sanitation and equipment maintenance to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of operations management experience in food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety regulations, SQF preferred.
- Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent is a plus.
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
