Hiring Opportunity : Columbus OHOur client is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join their Generator Rentals team! Our client is a world leading distributor of electrical power generators while also being an industry leader in providing outdoor power equipment. This individual would be responsible for generating leads and sales of power distribution equipment around central Ohio. Qualified individuals will need to have outside sales experience and experience with power distribution equipment is preferred.Responsibilities : - Performs sales calls in person, over the phone and via e-mail- Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling, direct mail activities and networking- Manages selling activities to optimize and sustain sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction- Works with customers to resolve problems and provide solutions- Seeks and continuously develops knowledge and information about competitor activity, pricing and tactics, and communicates this to relevant company staff- Responsible for profit & loss of branch rental department- Visit customer job sites as needed for sales / estimating / customer service purposes- Provide estimates on equipment sizing required to meet power needs- Work with sales support & service team to schedule and coordinate logistics for rental activities, generate quotes and work orders, process all paperwork in a timely manner, obtain customer documents such as proof of insurance for rental property, and provide document copies requested by customersQualifications : - 2 yrs experience in outside sales with industry experience preferred- Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain insurability through company insurer- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English- Ability to write reports and business correspondence- Excellent customer service skills- Strong presentation skills and ability to influence others- Capable of preserving confidential and sensitive material- Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task required- Computer skills to include MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); data entry- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends- Must be able to pass background check and periodic drug screensBenefits : - Competitive pay with commission- Advancement Opportunities- Excellent Benefit Package (Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, Company Paid STD / LTD / Life, AND MORE)- Paid Time Off (Vacation, Parental Bonding, Jury Duty, Bereavement, Volunteering)
