What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pricing Analyst position at Synerfac Technical Staffing?
Process Request for Quotations. Obtain information given from customer service and sales to build quotes based on data provided.-Consult with clients, vendors, and personnel in other departments to discuss or formulate estimates and resolve issues.-Update existing quotes based on changes made or time, such as price increases.-Design cartons by using dimensions provided by customer service and sales team.-May be responsible for outsourcing quotes such as freight or board that isn"t provided from normal suppliers to assure the right costs are being built.-File quotes so numbers are aligned.-Determine the different capabilities between plants and what aspects of printing go where to be ran the most efficient way.-Design spreadsheets to distribute information and to better configure calculations.-Oversee quotations and distribution of work by other estimators.-Enforce that operations conform to federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations.-High math aptitude.-Strong proficiency with computers and applications.-Understand all processes of manufacturing -Advanced knowledge on machinery.-Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing time.-Ability to work well with others to lead and distribute tasks within communicating effectively.-Strong willingness to work with people and comfortably deal with internal customers.-Capable of getting along with all personality types.-Excellent communication, leadership, and personal organization skills.-Possess excellent problem solving and judgment skills.-Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
