Process Improvement EngineerFood manufacturer in Mt Olive, NC is looking for a Process Improvement Engineer to apply engineering skills and lean techniques to generate continuous improvements in manufacturing in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Responsibilities include : - Finding ways to improve manufacturing methods and equipment - Using data to spot areas for improvement and make informed decisions - Leading teams to execute process improvement projects- Creating and updating procedures to ensure consistent quality and safety- Collaborating with the quality team to maintain product quality and safety - Identifying ways to cut costs without compromising quality - Training staff on new processesRequirements : - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience - 5 years Lean manufacturing experience - 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, food is a plus - Strong experience developing and implementing process improvement strategies- Experience with a large manufacturing facility preferred- Strong continuous improvement knowledge- Strong analytical background- Excel skills
