What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Lab Assistant position at Synerfac Technical Staffing?
Conducts analysis and experimentation on raw material, in-process, and finished product, as well as wastewater samples to ensure quality control specifications are met.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operates and maintains various quality control instruments.
- Performs timely and accurate routine quality control analysis using established test methods.
- Approves / rejects materials based upon set specifications.
- Enters data into plant information system to allow generation of reports on plant operating conditions
- Maintains the laboratory according to 5S practices, good housekeeping and safety standards within the Chemical Hygiene Plan.
- Performs calibrations of equipment.-Minimum of Associates degree in Chemistry or related Science; Bachelor's Degree preferred. or equivalent combination of education and experience-Minimum 6 months of practical lab experience-Good IT literacy skills.-Excellent communications skills-Competence in basic arithmetic and algebra.-MUST HAVE LAB EXPERIENCE #ZRBC
