A leader in designing and manufacturing industrial ovens and thermal processing solutions is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. This role involves ensuring the highest quality standards for industrial ovens used across various industries, including aerospace, automotive, and energy sectors.Key Responsibilities : - Conduct uniformity testing and quality reviews on industrial ovens.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical, gas, water, and air systems using tools like multimeters and amp probes.- Program and debug Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), operator interfaces, and frequency drives.- Perform thorough inspections and ensure adherence to technical drawings, reports, and work instructions.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing, design, and quality concerns.- Propose improvements to product quality and testing processes.- Maintain data records and reports using MS Office software.Key Requirements : - High school diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.- Strong understanding of temperature control systems and debugging processes.- Proficiency with PLC programming, electrical troubleshooting, and system diagnostics.- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and ERP systems (Epicor preferred).- Working knowledge of low and high-voltage systems; electrical certification is a plus.- Experience with forklift operations and certification is desirable.- Exceptional problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and willingness to work overtime when needed.Benefits : - Competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.- 401k with employer match and immediate vesting.- Paid vacation and holidays.- Professional development through training programs and tuition assistance.
