Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead geotechnical projects, manage junior staff, and provide technical expertise on a variety of infrastructure and construction projects. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, as well as a deep understanding of geotechnical principles and industry best practices.Key Responsibilities : Project Management :
- Lead geotechnical engineering projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.Technical Expertise :
- Conduct geotechnical investigations, including field exploration, soil sampling, and laboratory testing.
- Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater data to determine engineering properties.
- Design foundations, retaining walls, embankments, slope stabilization systems, and other geotechnical structures.
- Perform geotechnical risk assessments and provide mitigation strategies.Reporting and Documentation :
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, proposals, and technical memorandums.
- Review and approve calculations, designs, and reports prepared by junior staff.Leadership and Mentorship :
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers, geologists, and technicians.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives.Client and Stakeholder Engagement :
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide technical support during proposal development and project bidding.Compliance and Standards :

- Stay updated on the latest industry standards, technologies, and methodologies.QualificationsEducation and Experience :
- Bachelor"s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field (Master"s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of geotechnical engineering experience, including project leadership roles.Licenses and Certifications :
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Additional certifications (, GE, PMP) are a plus.Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in geotechnical software such as GeoStudio, Plaxis, LPILE, SLOPE / W, and gINT.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical field and laboratory testing.
