This key role will drive improvement initiatives for all KPIs for Production, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Equipment Maintenance. This position is also instrumental in driving our transition to a world-class Lean Manufacturing environment.

- Duties and Responsibilities not limited to :
- Supports and develops floor leaders and personnel in their accomplishment of their assigned tasks at targeted performance levels. Strong floor leader.
- Lead, direct, and control the day-to-day activities of the Smithfield plant to achieve the short and medium-term financial and operating goals set by the overall organization business plan.
- Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports to determine causes of scrap, lost time, product nonconformity, and operating or production problems. Develops mitigations and insures sustained improvement in KPIs.
- Monitors the production processes, adjusts or revises production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems, and ensures goods and services are produced efficiently and with the correct quantities, quality, and cost.
- Consults with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment to improve production and quality of products.

- 8 years in leadership roles
