Service Technician:
As a Service Technician you'll be joining the CISV division of a leading power generation company in the Statesville, NC area. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing generator sets and other electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage internal technicians to execute preventative maintenance contracts across a defined geographic territory.
- Track open service tickets, ensure timely completion, and provide status updates to the customer.
- Communicate with customers to address inquiries, resolve problems, and coordinate service or equipment requests.
- Schedule and arrange necessary repairs to restore service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Order parts for repairs and ensure timely delivery for seamless operations.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, flowcharts, and specifications to facilitate effective problem-solving.
- Review AC/DC electrical and battery inspection reports, providing feedback on immediate or future maintenance needs.
- Maintain detailed preventative and emergency maintenance reports for customer access and review.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of industry related experience.
- High school diploma required; Associate degree in an electrical or mechanical-related field is a plus.
- Current Generac Power Systems certification preferred.
- Military experience as a US Navy Electrician"s Mate, US Air Force Electrical Power Production Specialist, or similar field service experience encouraged.
- Valid driver"s license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF.
