Summary : A rapidly growing engineering and surveying firm is looking to hire a Party Chief in Savannah, GA.Responsibilities :
- Conduct topographic and boundary surveys for a variety of property types (large properties, residential, industrial, small commercial, rural wetlands etc.)
- Conduct ALTA surveys, wetland and tree locations, construction layouts, and related fieldwork
- Oversee and lead a survey crew, including one Survey Crew Member.
- Set up and operate surveying equipment such as robotic total stations, GPS rovers, and levels.
- Ensure accurate and precise data collection and recording.
- Perform other duties related to underground utilities, water, storm, and sewer systems.Requirements :
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Survey Party Chief or 5 years in surveying as an Instrument Man.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a survey crew.
- Proficiency in using robotic total stations, GPS rovers, and levels.
- Strong understanding of topographic and boundary surveying techniques.
- Knowledge and experience with underground utilities and water systems.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
