What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Labor/Assembler position at Synerfac?
We are seeking a Laborer / assembler for an opening in New Kensington, PA.
Responsibilities :
Assist machine operators with setup and operation of CNC machinery, including loading and unloading materials and tools.
Support fabricators in preparing materials for welding, cutting, bending, or other fabrication processes.
Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure adherence to specifications and make necessary adjustments as directed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning machines, sweeping floors, and disposing of waste materials.
Help with the movement and transportation of materials within the shop, utilizing appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and achieve daily targets.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or production issues to the Shift Supervisor promptly.
Assist in inventory management by tracking materials, supplies, and tools and notifying appropriate personnel when stocks are low.
Job Requirements
Prefer an individual with prior manufacturing experience.
Position will include the blasting, deburring, and cleaning of parts.
Ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints.
Position will be in a fast paced work environment. Must be willing to work multiple hours without sitting down.
Must be willing to work overtime
