What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Production Manager position at Synerfac?
Work for a manufacturer in Middlesex County as an Assistant Production Manager :
1. Provides first-line supervision to production workers to insure orders are produced on schedule and meet ISO 9001 : 2015 and IATF-16949 quality standards.
2. Assists with the preparation of production orders per standard procedure and issues to production floor.
3. Assists and supports the manufacturing staff as needed by cutting material, chopping orders and / or samples, or other related duties as required.
4. Supervises the Shipping, Receiving and Warehouse functions.
5. Provides Production Manager with Performance Appraisal input.
6. In Production Manager"s absence, summarizes time cards for hourly payroll.-
7. Trains production workers in proper manufacturing methods and procedures.
8. Replaces chopper blade(s) prior to start of manufacturing activities, and at midday if required. Turns on all required machinery.
9. Innovate beyond the scope of official responsibility.
10. Position includes all other responsibilities that may be necessary to fulfill the duties associated with the position or as
may be assigned.
Hours :
- 7am to 3 : 30pm
