Our Client is looking to hire a Building Engineer for their team in Saint Louis! Our client is a leader in maintaining a fixing buildings to ensure everything is running properly.
Job Requirements
Job Responsibilities :
- Conduct regular assessments of building systems.
- Perform minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and respond to service requests for both interior and exterior building equipment.
- Manage work order requests related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.
- Proactively maintain an ongoing task list for the property management team.
- Serve as the primary contact for vendors, overseeing their check-in / out process and escorting them to their work areas while documenting the work completed.
- Assist with fire panel and extinguisher inspections.
- Ensure a safe job site and adhere to company, OSHA, and client-specific safety standards.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner consistent with our values.
- Job Requirements;
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
- A minimum of 3-5 years commercial building operations engineering experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions independently.
- Current and valid driver"s license.
- Proficiency in working with handheld devices (smartphones) and electronic work order systems.
- Lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work within tight spaces.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and motivation to get the job done well.
- Must be comfortable in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
