Construction Surveyor
Join a leading construction firm specializing in diverse, high-profile projects across the Raleigh, NC area. As a Construction Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing surveying tasks critical to construction success. This position is ideal for a licensed professional with expertise in construction layout, data processing, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform precise construction staking for erosion control, utilities, grading, storm drainage, and building layout on commercial sites, highways, and subdivisions.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring all tasks meet quality and deadline expectations.
- Lead and train field crews, providing support to resolve issues and ensure project efficiency.
- Process raw field data to create topographic maps, staking plans, road alignments, and foundation surveys.
- Maintain and oversee inventory and functionality of field equipment and vehicles.
- Prepare boundary, ALTA / ACSM surveys, plats, and easement exhibits for a variety of projects.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address project needs, challenges, and progress.
- Utilize tools such as robotic total stations, electronic data collectors, and AutoCAD for accurate data gathering and analysis.
