Diesel Mechanic
Overview :
Our Client is seeking an experienced diesel maintenance mechanic for their Downingtown, PA location. This position will help oversee, the client's shop and captive shop provider in Downingtown, PA.
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, maintenance on trucks, trailers, and support vehicles
- Assign jobs to technicians on the floor
- Review work orders for accuracy, including work performed and diagnostics
- Review all estimates to ensure proper cost is correct with backup from estimates and put time limits on all repairs
- Review and provide all purchase orders to payables department and obtain proper signatures for all purchase orders
- Communicate job status to all department managers and directors
- Adhere to manufacturer's warranty policies and procedures
- Investigate and resolve a variety of problems
Shift : Monday thru Friday (approx. 7am to 4pm)
