Job Summary
The Director Operations will be responsible for the leadership and management of the company manufacturing, quality and supply chain operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position will supervise the Manufacturing Manager, Supply Chain function, Quality and Materials Management.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic operational planning and forecasting through the Supply / Demand interlock with sales and product management
- Establish weekly, monthly, quarterly production revenue plan and manage execution to deliver expected results
- Define, implement, and revise operational policies and guidelines for the organization
- Active member on the Senior Management Team
- Direct and coordinate a single site manufacturing business
- Oversee materials, inventory management, procurement, and planning
- Ensure constant communication with management, staff, and suppliers to ensure proper operation of the organization
- Develop and manage revenue recognition process and control in conjunction with finance
- Work proactively with engineering to ensure product quality
- Manage product quality and repair function
- Monitor shipping process and procedures with aims to ensure efficient shipping
- Manage and prepare operational dashboard
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff
