**Job Role Overview**

The Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine equipment checks, monitoring key performance indicators, and responding to urgent maintenance requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing Preventive Maintenance Tasks: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operations.
  • Recording Important Data Points: Accurately record important data to monitor equipment performance and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Responding to Emergency Maintenance Calls: Swiftly respond to maintenance requests to minimize disruptions to production.
  • Repairing Machinery Quickly: Effectively troubleshoot and repair machinery in a timely manner to meet production demands.
  • Assisting in Training New Staff Members: Share knowledge and expertise to help new employees learn correct machinery operation.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Troubleshooting Skills: Proficient in PLCs, inverter drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, bearing, chains, and belting, conveying systems, valves, basic blueprint reading, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Proven Electrical Experience Required: Two years of experience in the electrical field is essential for this role.
  • Strong Communication Abilities: Effective communication is crucial for success in this position.
  • Flexible Working Schedule Including Weekends and Holidays: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, is required.
  • Strong Focus on Safety and Quality Standards: A strong focus on safety and quality is necessary to ensure excellent results.
  • Ability to Move Around Facility: Must be able to navigate all areas of the facilities and access all parts of company equipment.
