Summary - Electrical Design Engineer
Job duties -
Design lighting and power systems for all building types
The ideal candidate is an established engineer who has developed their design skills on a range of projects, has a solid understanding of mechanical system basics, and is looking to assume a more significant role in the development of the mechanical system designs.
Job Requirements
Requirements -
Bachelor"s Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (concentration in electrical design)
6 years of relevant professional experience in electrical building design
Experience with AutoCAD is required
Experience with Revit preferred
Experience in following project types : education, civic / government, financial services, retail, office, interior renovation, high tech / R&D, mission critical / data centers, and healthcare
Knowledge of the LEED certification process (LEED Accreditation is a plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) required.
Passion for sustainability
Creativity and a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking
Ability to collaborate in a team setting
US Driver"s license is required
Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and access job site areas that are relevant to each client
