Summary :
An environmental services company is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join their team. This role involves mentoring field techs, managing client contracts, and overseeing water sampling, GIS, and EPA regulation-related tasks. Occasional out-of-town travel is required for this role, which includes a mix of residential and long-term projects.
Responsibilities :
Mentor and manage 6-7 field techs, providing guidance on soil, groundwater, and wastewater
sampling, data interpretation, and project management
Oversee and manage client contracts, from proposal development to invoicing and project closeout
Conduct site investigations, sample collection, and data collection, ensuring compliance with EPA
regulations
Manage GIS data, water sampling, and prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings
accurately (Microsoft Word and Excel)
Travel occasionally (20-30%), including for military contracts with organizations like the Air Force and
NASA
Mentor junior professionals and subcontractors on project execution and ensure quality standards
Develop environmental service offerings and expand the company"s reach across offices
Job Requirements
Qualifications :
PE (Professional Engineer) required
Minimum of 5 years experience required
Experience with GIS, water sampling, and EPA regulations
CIH and HIE certifications are a plus
Valid driver"s license required
Must pass required training and certifications
Ability to carry 40 lbs and work in various environments
